This week the Noble High School's French IV and V students are going to start the French Mentors Program along with their advisor, Madame Osborne. They will be spending time mentoring the North Berwick Elementary School's Kindergarten through 3rd grade students on the basics of the French language and culture. All of our mentors have gone through the United Way Mentors training and have been working hard preparing engaging, interactive and informative lessons! The French V students will be traveling every third Wednesday to NBES for the Kindergarten and 3rd grade lessons and the French IV students will teach the 1st and 2nd grade students every third Friday. The program begins now and goes until the end of the school year. The NHS mentors are thrilled to be working with and getting to know some of our community's younger students. They are passionate French students and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and love for the language with our community's students. The NHS students will be sending home parent letters giving more details on what the individual classes are learning.
